The stately grace of giraffes is always a wonder to me. I have watched them in the wild and in zoos and I am continually amazed at how delicately they can reach up to nibble at a single leaf while avoiding the sharp thorns of many African trees. Their slender necks and large eyes paired with the spots and blond colors inspire me to return to them as a subject again and again.
