We live in the country and see Black Bears quite often. This last couple of years, we have seen young bears, just newly away from their mama bears. A two year-old and a three year-old who were not yet full grown.

This sculpture is a 3 year old Black Bear. He has begun to out-grow his cub proportions and is looking more like an adult, with the exception that his face is still quite sweet.

The Young Black Bear has an edition of 20. It fits in scale with my other smaller bear sculptures.

All sculptures come with a Certificate of Authenticity in a beautiful folio.
