The solid weight of this Clydesdale heavy horse is apparent not only in the timeless bronze material but in his rooted stance as he is buffeted by strong wind, blowing his mane and tail forward.
I had such fun bringing this strong fellow to life and love his mid to large size which occupies a nice visual space and exudes quiet, calm resiliency.
Often when I create sculptures, they come through as strong characters that have a life of their own. This beauty is no exception. I love his form and the loose almost painterly quality of his texture.
*Please note: This sculpture needs to be cast. It will take about 2 months to be completed once an order is placed.

The edition size for this equine sculpture is 12. It stands 15 inches high.
