This piece went through many stages, finally arriving at a moody finish, with dark shadows and fine back-lit hightlights.
Mixed media and encaustic on Strathmore toned grey.
These drawings with their wax coating can be hung unframed or mounted within a frame without glass. The top edge of the paper is stitched with embroidery thread to make an ornamental hanger.
