This painting is inspired by an old black and white photo I had of a new born foal and its dam, taken from the horse farm I grew up on.
Part of my Golden Creatures Series, the background features iridescent Renaissance gold oil paint in the form of scrolls which represent the spirit in all living things.
It is framed with a classic brushed gold frame.
