The first hummingbird of the year! We occasionally get Anna’s Hummingbirds in the Okanagan, but I have never painted one! This little beauty was photographed by my husband last year. So far this spring we have seen Calliope, Rufous and Black-chinned hummers at our feeders. Hopefully later this summer we will be honoured by a visiting Anna’s.
