ELEPHANT HERD DRAWING.
This original charcoal, ink and encaustic drawing features an African Elephants at night. The deep shadows created by the ink wash adds a lovely quiet and peaceful feeling to this drawing.
Because the drawing is coated with beeswax it does not need to be under glass. The wax lends a mysterious, aged quality to the drawing which is has a gentle, muted surface with soft, subtle shadows and highlights.
The top of the drawing is stitched with embroidery thread so it can hang easily on the wall with a unique style.
