The deep and intense colour of this painting was so inspiring to paint!

Polar bear fur beautifully reflects many of the colours surrounding it. I love taking inspiration from those subtle hints and amplifying them to richer and brighter tones.

This painting has an impressionist feel with thick brushstrokes and texture. It is currently unframed but ready to hang with the edges painted.
 
It makes a lovely pairing with Scent From Across the Ice
